Associates
Danielle Lazar is a founding
partner of ACCESS Group International. She is the former Associate
Director of the Institute of Metropolitan Affairs at Roosevelt University,
a public-policy research institute. At the institute, Ms Lazar spearheaded
a variety of initiatives including the completion of a 5-year strategic
plan for Chicago's trade show and convention industry; the development and
funding of a metropolitan Chicago drug strategy project; and follow-up
projects emerging from a federally-funded inner-city technology planning
grant.
Ms. Lazar has taught at The University of
Chicago with Professor Pastora Cafferty, and is an adjunct professor in
the Department of Policy Studies and the Graduate Program in Public
Administration at Roosevelt University. She has taught courses covering
topics such as community development, resource allocation, public housing,
welfare and the politics of race and ethnicity.
Ms. Lazar is on the community advisory
board of the Junior League of Chicago and is on the board of directors of
Lake Shore Drive Synagogue. She received a Master's Degree in Public
Policy from the Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies
and a bachelor's degree in international relations from Boston University.
