Health Care

  • The HIV/AIDS incidence rate has increased in the African-American and Latino communities while other communities have seen decreases.

  • The current administration has not increased HIV/AIDS funding in over five years.

  • According to the Chicago Department of Health, there are sharp increases of HIV/AIDS on the South and West sides of Chicago.

  • AIDS is now the number one killer of African-Americans between the ages of 25-40.
