The Runners' Club is based in Chicago and the next class will begin in the second quarter of 2001. The majority of the program classes will be held in Chicago, however potential Runners outside of the Chicago area are welcome to apply and join the Runners' Club. The Runners' Club is a global program and encourages participation from throughout the world. A substantial number of participants from all of the program classes have been non-Chicago area residents. The program will have a Luncheon and informational meeting for potential applicants in Chicago on January 26, 2001. The meeting will provide a more detailed overview of the Runners' Club program and the opportunity to interact with the Runners' Club staff and past participants. JoAnn Price, a founding principal and partner of Fairview Capital Partners, will be the featured speaker at this Luncheon. "Ms. Price is the preeminent force in minority venture capital investing in the United States. If you are raising money for your company or fund Ms. Price is someone you must hear." Fairview Capital is the first and the largest capital provider to Venture Capital firms that invest in minority entrepreneurs and markets. |
