Victor E. Chears is President and Chief
Executive Officer of Chears & Associates, a general management consulting
firm that he started in 1986. Mr. Chears also serves as an adjunct faculty
member at Roosevelt University.
Mr. Chears is a seasoned manager and
management consultant with extensive experience in the public and private
sectors. His analytical, strategic planning, coaching, project management and
communications skills are proven and outstanding.
These qualities have made him a
sought out coach, trainer, mentor, confidant and advisor to the senior
management and leaders of complex organizations. His clients have ranged from
start-up enterprises to billion dollar Fortune 500 companies.

experiences Mr. Chears has:

planning expertise for a multi-million dollar office relocation project.

strategies for improving the operating efficiency and skill base of a
350-person section of a large municipal department.

technical specifications for public bid and proposal solicitations.

training to the top 150 managers of a $500 million division of a Fortune 500
company. |
Prior to starting Chears &
Associates, Mr. Chears held management positions in consulting, government and
corporate manufacturing all of which contributed significantly to his knowledge
of the principles and processes involved in organizational analysis and
development.
Mr. Chears’ current board
activities include Chair, Founding Board of the Lugenia Burns Hope Center, a
community-based leadership development program; and Vice President (and
President-elect) of the Board of Directors of the Yale Club of Chicago.
Mr. Chears received his BA from Yale
University and was enrolled in the University of New Haven’s MBA program when
he decided to start his consulting career.
