Here are four things I want you to know about my candidacy for Trustee, Grayslake Village Board. Thank you for taking time to read and respond.

1. Your voice is important. I will listen to you and represent you. Also helping to guide my decisions and actions will be: Grayslake business owners, industry leaders, residents, and homeowners; Village government administrators, staff and elected officials; subject matter "experts" on specific topics; and leaders from neighboring Lake County communities with problem-solving or community-building models to share.
   
   
2. Your investment in the community along with your interest in what’s happening is key. I’m dedicated to furthering a continuous flow of information to and from the Village Board. You will be the priority in my sharing of information, gathering input and seeking feedback.
   
   
3. Your interests are always more valuable than any "special" interests. I am an independent candidate in this election--not running with any formal or informal slate--and, as Trustee, I will vote according to each situation.
   
   
4. You deserve a Village Board that represents the best leadership Grayslake has to offer. I will conduct myself in a professional and respectful manner. Further, I will strive to be a force for unity--across opinions, backgrounds, personalities and communication styles on the Board.
