Welcome to Group 17 Educational Consultants!
Group17 was created 1997 at Pacific University in
Forest Grove Oregon. It was during a weeklong seminar that focused
on intercultural communications that the founder and president,
Floyd G. Carroll II developed the idea of providing workshops that
gave attention to diversity issues.
Since the early days of Group17, there has been a
great deal of development. In 2000, Group17 was incorporated and was
renamed Group17 Educational Consultants, Inc.
Group17 also added to its repertoire a variety of
topics that addressed education from the elementary level to Higher
Education. Today, topics include: Diversity training, True Colors
and understanding theories of personalities, Taking A Stand, The
Global Diversity Game and the Interactive Student Educational
Program.
The Group17 Educational Consulting team also provides
leadership training for new Principals at the elementary and high
school level, addresses the issues of juvenile crimes and
recidivism, effective instructional practices and Administrative
Leadership.
